Ensolite PVC-NBR-CR is an energy absorbing foam originally developed by NASA to protect pressure from damage. It has virtually 100% memory and is waterproof. CR/EPDM/SBR blended rubber foam is also used for shock absorbing, vibration and sound dampening, filtering, structural support, and electrical applications. It is used to make rubber washers, gaskets, seals, bushings, tubing, and noise isolators in demanding industries such as industrial, oil and gas, energy, and food and beverages.
The 1-1/4″ thick product has skin on both sides. The 1/4″, 1/2″, 3/4″, and 1″ have a skin only on one side. The 1/8″ does not have a skin on either side.

Gym rubber is a durable and flexible closed-cell foam with a medium feel and medium firmness. The density of Ensolite allows it to be used for exercise matting, kneeling cushions, boxing rings, and camping pads, while remaining soft to the touch for comfort. It also can be used dampen noise and vibrations in automotive and industrial capacities. Gym rubber has a high R-value for use as insulation and offers performance in sheets thinner than many materials. It is easy to cut, water-resistant, very resistant to fuel and oil, and practical for outdoor and marine applications.
